Will my 7 year old be playing against 14 year olds?

The campers are always divided into teams by age. Campers will be competing against other campers of similar age and abilities. This policy applies at all of our camps.

What is included in the overnight session?

The campers that choose to stay overnight participate in additional nightly activities, which are typically baseball related. Overnight campers will be provided with all the standard amenities you will find in a hotel.

Is my child to young to stay in the hotel?

No. It is solely up to the parents. Parents decide whether or not their child can handle the responsibilities of being an overnight camper. We want to make staying at the hotel an enjoyable experience.

How many counselors are in the hotel with the campers?

Our camp director and athletic trainer will always reside in the hotel during camps. Also, a coach is assigned a group of no more than 10 campers. We have a set curfew each night for "lights out" and a room check will be done by the camp director/coaches. In addition, our coaches monitor the halls. Please check "Hotel Information" on the home page.

Are meals provided?

"Morning" only campers commute in daily and do not receive meals. "Full day" campers commute in daily, receive lunch, and are dismissed at 4pm. Overnight campers receive breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Can you hold my place in the camp until I have a chance to send in my application?

No. Per NCAA rules, we are not allowed to hold any spaces for campers. All camps are filled on a first come - first serve basis. Your application and deposit must be received by the camp director for you to be accepted and registered into the camp.

Do you accept walk-ups at registration?

This depends on the enrollment in camp. For camps that do not have a pre-set limit on the number of campers, we will most likely accept walk-ups. However, it is unlikely that we would accept walk-ups for any of our "specialty" camps which are geared toward the high school player.

What will happen if it rains?

Camp will NOT be canceled. We have access to many of the athletic facilities at LSU. We have plenty of indoor space, which include batting cages and the indoor football facility.

Can my son room with his friend?

Yes. Just request the specific roommate(s) on the "roommate request" space provided in the application.
