The LSU one-day high school showcases are intended for players with serious interest in playing at the next level to get the opportunity to play in front of and be coached by the LSU coaching staff. Campers will sign up by position, and the first 34 players fielding two teams of 17 will be accepted. (Certain positions will fill up and be closed off depending on configuration). Campers will:

1. Run the 60-yard dash
2. Take batting practice
3. Go through a defensive workout
4. Play a 12-inning game

Position players can choose from: infield, outfield, first base, and catcher.

Pitcher-Only's will pitch two innings (each with a pre-determined number of hitters) but will not participate in the rest of the evaluation.

Players can sign up for a position and to pitch (they will pitch one inning in addition to their position player duties). Camp costs are $179 for pitcher-only's and $289 for position players and two-way players.

"Wednesday Night Under the Lights" - LSU Baseball Advanced Hitting Clinic

"Wednesday Nights Under the Lights" is for baseball players that are serious about their skill development. The camp will meet for two hours on four consecutive Wednesday nights in October (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th). The hitters will get instruction, drill repetition, and video analysis of proper swing mechanics. This camp is an excellent way to get a lot of swings to stay sharp for your fall baseball season, while also getting to hit "under the lights" on the field at Alex Box Stadium Skip Bertman Field as well as inside our indoor hitting facility.
Times: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Grades: 7th - 12th
Cost: $350

LSU Baseball Hitting Clinic- November 19th

The LSU Hitting Clinic is for hitters who will be in the 5th grade and up in the fall of 2018 and are interested in honing their hitting skills before the spring season. All aspects of hitting will be covered including mechanics, mental approach, and game approach. Campers will leave with a new sense of what it takes to be a hitter for the LSU Tigers, an abundance of drills that campers can do on their own to improve their hitting skills, and will get a lot of repetitions to get them ready for their upcoming season. The Hitting Clinic will be tutored by LSU Director of Player Development, Micah Gibbs, and hitting coach Sean Ochinko, as well as former Tiger professional players.
Grades 5-12

Cost $200 (Campers signing up for both the hitting clinic and pitching/catching camp will receive a 10% discount)

LSU Baseball Pitching/Catching Camp- November 20th

The Pitching/Catching Clinic will essentially be two separate camps: a pitching and a catching camp going on simultaneously and then coming together at the end. The Catchers will work on the finer points of receiving, blocking, and throwing as well as the mental aspects of the catcher position with LSU catching coach Micah Gibbs and LSU's catchers in professional baseball. Pitchers will be tutored on mechanics, throwing programs, and arm care by LSU Pitching Coach Alan Dunn, as well as former Tiger professional pitchers.
Grades 5-12

Cost $200 (Campers signing up for both the hitting clinic and pitching/catching camp will receive a 10% discount)

Camps are open to any/all entrants
