The LSU Hitting Camp is for hitters who will be in the 5th grade and up in the fall of 2019, interested in honing their hitting skills before the spring season. All aspects of hitting will be covered including mechanics, mental approach, and game approach. Campers will leave with a new sense of what it takes to be a hitter for the LSU Tigers, an abundance of drills that campers can do on their own to improve their hitting skills, and will get a lot of repetitions to get them ready for their upcoming season. The Hitting Camp will be tutored by LSU Director of Player Development, Micah Gibbs, and hitting coach Eddie Smith, as well as former Tiger professional players.
